What Snap Tumblers does — and what it doesn’t claim.

Do I need Sign in with Apple? +

Sign in with Apple unlocks account features. Cloud backup and restore of your collection require you to be signed in. You can still scan and organize locally, but account features need Apple sign-in.

Why pick a brand or category when I scan? +

Category selection (Starbucks default, Stanley, YETI, Hydro Flask, Owala, Simple Modern, Disney Parks, Limited/Holiday, Collab/Artist, Cold Cup, Hot Tumbler, Other) helps focus identification. Choosing the right group usually produces more useful results than scanning blind.

Is this official brand authentication? +

No. Snap Tumblers offers AI-assisted identification to help collectors catalog drinkware. It is not official Starbucks, Stanley, YETI, Hydro Flask, or any other brand authentication, and it does not guarantee a perfect ID every time.

How do trades work? +

Trades are peer-to-peer between users. Post offers, pick a cup from your inventory, browse the trade feed, open trade detail, and chat in-app. Set up contact info (username and optional Facebook helpers) so others can reach you. Snap Tumblers does not insure or guarantee trades.

Does cloud backup need sign-in? +

Yes. Backup and restore of your collection work while you are signed in. Stay signed in with Apple to use cloud backup.

What is the camera used for? +

The camera is for photographing tumblers and cold cups — primarily a side view, with optional bottom or size marks — for identification and your collection. Photos support ID and collection tracking, not unrelated uses.

How do I join the iOS beta? +

Email admin@snapcollectibles.com and ask for Snap Tumblers iOS beta access. Include your name and a short note about how you collect. We will follow up with next steps.

Is Android available? +

Android is coming soon. The app is currently in iOS beta. Reach out to admin@snapcollectibles.com if you want to be notified when Android testing opens.

Privacy-minded by default

Camera and photos are used for drinkware identification and your personal collection. Trade contact details (such as username or optional Facebook helpers) are information you choose to provide so other collectors can reach you. Sign in with Apple when you want account features like cloud backup.
